WIDEBAND CHUNKATHALON

We flipped the chunkcathalon into a two-day rolling commingling of CHUNK-style events & festivities.

Saturday was an off-road time trial, a big ride w/ 40-something choppers & tallbikes to BBQ, portages over some bridges, around Ladd's, and then to a Rink.

Sunday was the derby & baby rescue ride. Here are some photos from Sunday.

The Baby rescue concourse.

Terry may or may not have broken BOTH of his feet in the baby rescue. He also earned the chunkathalon merit badge for 'Repair Angel' for actions on Saturday.

Steph somehow managed to heed the call to spontaneously embrace mother earth Saturday on the offroad time trials (chin) AND on Sunday during the baby rescue (elbow). But she kept laughing so we gave her the merit badge for spirit.

Also of note but not pictured: Big B. got a merit badge for Navigator and also had the best time in the trials (thud & hang tied for second). Ian got the Sportsmanship badge for pulling Truxster when its chain broke with his belt. Metal Nate from Jesus Horse got the Baby Rescue patch for winning the baby resuce tourney & Darren got the Dumbest Bike patch.
